Nominated as a candidate for the National Assembly, I would like to inform the public about the motives of that decision.

First, I consider non-registering of my brother Kh.  Sukiasyan as illegal and rough violation of human rights and political persecution: This step caused great displeasure of the electors, the public and, of course, we were not happy with it as well. I consider it recurrent settling of scores with him for his political views and I think I must struggle against this injustice by continuing his activities of MP.

Second, it was not an end in itself being in the parliament at all. He has a lot of draft laws, initiatives and projects about the economy and he wants these projects being realized. And my brother persuaded me to make this decision.

Third. Everyone knows very well that the competition in this area has always been sharp, but civilized competition between several candidates. And we wish to continue this formed tradition henceforward.

Fourth. My nomination is also to some extent a response to public demand.  I am sure that if I can get the vote of electors I can work efficiently in the National Assembly.  I have a great expertize to work and manage and I understand the economy well, I know the obstacles of the development of economy that they can be reduced or eliminated by improving and perfecting the legislation. The professional team of economists and lawyers rallied round me will help me to carry out my parliamentary functions
