Interview

An Interview with Saribek Sukiasyan Chairman of Board of ARMECONOMBANK

– Mr. Sukiasyan, what must serve as incentive for depositor while depositing money in the Bank?

For depositor the reliability is primary and that is called forth by the history, transparency and overall activities of the Bank and last but not least by the level of credit risk portfolio. Also the cooperation with different international organizations can be an incentive for depositor.

– Mr. Sukiasyan, how can be explained the introduction of New Volunteer Accumulative Deposit especially in this period of time?

Launching of new service is implemented on the bases of the analyses of the local market and international experience. In recent times the Funded Pension is much discussed. By considering the international experience it is obvious that such practices are available in many developed and developing countries.  And by studying the internal experience we could mitigate those omissions and shortcomings that were causing disappointments of the public. Taking into account the above mentioned statements New Volunteer Accumulative Deposit was introduced which is not mandatory. Both the invested amount and monthly added amount is being chosen by the client. The terms are more flexible, beside this deposit is accessible for everybody. Taking into account our national features and the fact that each person thinks about the security of the old age in the long run and we considered  it important to launch this deposit. By the way I have already opened up my Voluntary Accumulative Deposit account.

– Mr. Sukiasyan, will the introduction of new services be of continuous character?

– As I noted before by studying the international experience the specialists of ARMECONOMBANK permanently offer new services to our customers making the banking services more convenient and accessible for our public.
