Saribek Albert Sukiasyan was born on 7 September 1965 in Yerevan
He received his secondary education at A. Khanjyan School No. 53.
Afterwards, from 1985 to1987, he passed mandatory military service in USSR Armed Forces.
In 1990, he graduated from Yerevan Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Institute.
Mr. Sukiasyan defended his PhD thesis in In 2000 and obtained a PhD degree in Economics. Later, he
attended advanced several advanced economist trainings in Armenia and abroad.

Since 1988, Mr Sukiasyan has been engaged in entrepreneurial activities together with family
members. 1988 to 1991, he has held the position of the Chairman of VAGHARSHAPAT Cooperative
Venture.
Afterwards, 1991 to 1996, he held the position of the Director of Yerevan Package Repair Factory
OJSC, and 1996 to 1997, was the Chairman of the same factory.
In 1997, he joined the banking sector of RA as a member of the Board of Directors of
ARMECONOMBANK OJSC, and from 1998 to 2005 he was the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Since 1999, Mr. Sukiasyan has been the Deputy Chairman of SIL Group, a multiprofile business
holding engaged in various sectors of economy.
Since 2006, he has been holding the position of the Chairman of the Board of ARMECONOMBANK
OJSC.

Mr. Sukiasyan is a member of the Presidium of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of
Armenia.

Saribek Sukiasyan has accomplished a number of charitable programs and projects and is still actively
involved in new undertakings.

Saribek Sukiasyan has been awarded a Mantashyan Knight Silver Medal of Honor by the Ministry of
Culture of Armenia and Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival for promoting the
development of culture and reaffirming the native traditions of art patronage.
